Position: Crop Field-Test Manager
Bondeni Flowers Ltd stands for reliability and quality. Every day, we produce high-quality flowers exported to Europe and China. This success is made possible by our dedicated team, and we are now looking for a Crop Field-Test Manager to join us.
Job Summary
The Crop Field-Test Manager will be responsible for managing all field activities related to newly introduced flower varieties (currently five). The role focuses on achieving high-quality crop production through efficient field operations, trials, and staff supervision.
The successful candidate will report daily to the Production Manager / General Manager and will be responsible for developing and implementing fertilization and spraying programs.
In addition, the role includes planning, executing, and evaluating crop trials, including cultivation methods and biological applications, with proper documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all field activities for newly introduced varieties.
- Plan, implement, and monitor fertilization and spray programs.
- Set up, execute, and evaluate crop trials (cultivation, biological applications, etc.).
- Manage and supervise 2 supervisors and up to 30 field workers.
- Ensure efficient execution of:
- Irrigation
- Planting and uprooting
- Harvesting
- Field maintenance (weeding, drip systems, surrounding areas)
- Fertilizing
- Pest and disease control (chemical and biological)
- Prepare daily reports for management.
- Ensure high standards of crop quality and productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in the agricultural sector.
- Strong knowledge of crop pests and diseases.
- Experience in staff management with strong leadership skills.
- Very good command of the English language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Driven, decisive, and able to take initiative.
