JOB VACANCY: PRESALES ENGINEER

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Position: Presales Engineer

PAONES General Trading Company Limited is seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Presales Engineer to join its team in Dar es Salaam.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse customer requirements and design appropriate ICT solutions.
Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, compliance sheets and tender documents.
Conduct customer visits, site surveys, presentations and product demonstrations.
Support the sales team and identify new business opportunities, including resellers.
Coordinate with vendors and technology partners.
Support project handover and implementation.
Drive revenue generation, including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
- ICT
- Computer Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering
- Or a related field.
Experience in Presales, Technical Sales, Solutions Engineering or Systems Integration.
Strong knowledge of ICT solutions, networking, hardware and software.
Experience preparing tenders, BOQs and solution designs.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial mindset.
Willingness and ability to conduct customer visits.
