PROCUREMENT OFFICER – GSM GROUP OF COMPANIES

Position: Procurement Officer
Department: Procurement
Reporting To: Senior Procurement Officer
Duty Station: Dar es Salaam
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and prepare purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare procurement reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • CSP, MCIPS, or another relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
