Job Summary

Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and results-driven Assistant Director of Rooms to support the leadership and management of Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a positive and engaged team culture.

Previous experience with Hyatt or an international luxury hotel brand is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the overall leadership and management of Rooms Division operations.
• Oversee and coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services activities.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and high standards of service.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support team leadership, engagement, and performance.
• Address operational challenges and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain consistent service quality across Rooms Division operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Rooms Division operations within an international hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record in hotel operations.
• Experience with Opera PMS is an advantage.
• Previous Hyatt experience is highly preferred.
