The role leads real-estate initiatives involving leased and company-owned assets, including transactions, leases, landlord relationships, site-related projects and property management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Real Estate & Transaction Management
- Manage lease extensions, renewals, acquisitions, buyouts, abatements and decommissioning.
- Review and evaluate real-estate transactions.
- Review financial models and transaction structures.
- Lead complex negotiations with landlords and property owners.
2. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build relationships with landlords, property owners, communities, land agents, contractors and vendors.
- Lead community engagement and sensitization activities.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and CRM processes.
- Provide market intelligence on real-estate trends and acquisition opportunities.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and manage Real Estate Specialists, Analysts, Coordinators, Contractors and Land Agents.
- Set performance objectives and monitor productivity.
- Support recruitment, training, succession planning and career development.
- Allocate resources across the department.
4. Financial & Operational Management
- Review financial analyses and business cases.
- Manage contractor and vendor agreements.
- Support budgeting, incentive programmes and operational reporting.
- Coordinate management approvals for transactions above delegated authority.
5. Reporting & Systems
- Maintain accurate lease, landlord, property and transaction records.
- Produce management reports and performance metrics.
- Work with IT and business teams on systems improvement and automation.
- Improve operational efficiency, governance and service delivery.
Tanzania-Specific Responsibilities
For Tanzania, the role specifically focuses on Landlord Services, including:
- Managing landlord complaints and disputes.
- Resolving conflicts while maintaining business relationships.
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve operational issues.
- Developing and evaluating landlord-service processes and reporting.
- Reviewing outstanding requests and supporting team members with resolution.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience in telecommunications, site acquisition and property management.
