Arusha Meru International School (AMIS) is a co-educational private school located in the Central Business District of Arusha, Tanzania. Originally established in 1964 as Arusha Meru Schools by the Registered Trustees of the Arusha Educational and Cultural Society, it initially operated under the Tanzanian National Curriculum. Over the decades, the institution expanded its regional reach, eventually introducing a blended syllabus before fully transitioning to the globally recognized Cambridge International Curriculum in 2016.

Today, AMIS educates a diverse student body across all levels of learning, from Pre-Primary (Nursery) through Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and Advanced Level (A-Level) studies. VACANCY: COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER

Cambridge IGCSE & AS/A Level

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
Recognized teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Computer Science.
Strong programming, computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience preparing students for Cambridge examinations.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Cambridge training/experience is highly desirable.

Ideal candidate: A committed, innovative and results-oriented teacher with a strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and examination requirements.
