Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) is seeking a Relationship Officer (RO) – Biashara+ (MSME) to acquire, manage, and grow relationships with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) customers while supporting the Bank’s business growth objectives.

Job Purpose

The Relationship Officer will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing Biashara+ accounts and MSME customer relationships. The role will focus on business account acquisition, sales of MSME banking products, portfolio growth, customer retention, and achievement of assigned business targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Acquire new MSME customers and grow the MSME portfolio.
• Drive Current Account (CA) growth through Biashara+ business account acquisition.
• Market and sell MSME banking products and services.
• Identify, analyze, and develop business opportunities within the MSME segment.
• Conduct regular client visits to understand customer needs and provide appropriate banking solutions.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and portfolio growth targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with MSME customers to enhance retention and business growth.
• Cross-sell and upsell the Bank’s products and services to existing customers.
• Ensure customer information and KYC records are complete and up to date.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly business activity reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

• University degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.

Work Experience

• Fresh graduates are eligible to apply, or
• Candidates with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a banking environment.
