The Benjamin William Mkapa Foundation (BMF) is a Tanzanian health-focused organization working to improve health outcomes and strengthen health systems, particularly for underserved communities.
For this recruitment, BMF is partnering with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) with funding from the U.S. Department of State.
Job Overview
BMF is seeking self-driven, innovative and dynamic professionals to join its team as Regional Program Officers.
The Regional Program Officer will support, coordinate, monitor and quality-assure Health Workforce (HRH) and Community Health Services (CHS) interventions at the regional level.
The position involves working closely with government and community stakeholders to support the implementation of integrated health programs.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Regional Program Officer will be involved in:
- Supporting and coordinating Health Workforce (HRH) interventions.
- Supporting and coordinating Community Health Services (CHS) interventions.
- Monitoring implementation of program activities.
- Conducting quality assurance of health interventions.
- Collaborating with government stakeholders at regional and other relevant levels.
- Working with community stakeholders to support program implementation.
- Supporting integrated HIV/TB interventions.
- Supporting Maternal and Child Health initiatives.
- Supporting Community Health initiatives.
- Travelling to project sites as required.
Duty Stations
The positions are available in the following regions:
- Dodoma
- Singida
- Arusha
- Kilimanjaro
- Manyara
- Tabora
- Kagera
