1. Miller (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities
-
Machine Setup & Calibration: Prepare, fine-tune, and calibrate milling equipment according to job orders; manage control panels, speed, tension, and operational parameters.

Operations Oversight & Capacity: Drive milling equipment to maximum capacity to hit daily targets; monitor gauges and control panels to detect and resolve operational faults quickly.

Raw Material & Quality Control: Supervise the conditioning and processing of raw maize; conduct quality inspections on raw materials and finished maize flour to eliminate waste and guarantee product integrity.

Routine Maintenance: Execute pre- and post-shift machine inspections, lubricate moving parts, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with maintenance teams for major overhauls.

Safety & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of machine run-time, batch counts, and defects; enforce industrial safety guidelines and onboard/train junior machine operators.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Education: Degree or Vocational Training (VETA) in Grain Milling, Production Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in operating, setting up, and maintaining industrial processing machinery. Experience in a maize flour milling plant is an added advantage.

Technical & Soft Skills: Strong mechanical troubleshooting, quality control inspection, record-keeping, safety compliance, and team leadership skills.
2. Accountant (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities
-
Costing & Inventory Accounting: Track manufacturing inputs, raw maize procurement, packaging materials, and batch production costs to maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory valuation.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare accurate monthly balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, and reconcile general ledger accounts in line with company policies.

Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor manufacturing overheads, variance analysis (standard vs. actual production costs), and identify opportunities to reduce operational waste.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Manage tax filings (VAT, PAYE, WHT), ensure strict adherence to TRA guidelines, and maintain audit-ready financial records.

Asset & Stock Audits: Oversee periodic physical stock counts at the warehouse and reconcile inventory counts against accounting software records.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent technical qualification (CPA(T) or ACCA qualification is a strong advantage).

Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven accounting experience strictly within the Manufacturing or Agro-Processing Industry.

Technical & Soft Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel; solid grasp of standard costing, inventory management, and statutory tax laws.
3. Sales Representatives – FMCG & Route Sales (Multiple Positions)
Key Responsibilities

Route Sales Execution: Execute daily route plans to service existing retail/wholesale accounts and actively map out new territory opportunities across the region.

FMCG Distribution & Target Achievement: Drive volume sales of maize flour and animal feed products, meet or exceed monthly sales targets, and maximize product availability across trade channels.

Customer & Retailer Relationship Management: Build strong working relationships with shopkeepers, wholesalers, and distributors; ensure brand presence and merchandising standard compliance.

Order Processing & Cash Reconciliation: Collect customer orders, ensure accurate sales invoicing, enforce credit terms, and handle prompt daily sales collections/reconciliations.

Market Intelligence: Gather market feedback on competitor pricing, market trends, and product performance, reporting insights directly to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a relevant discipline.

Experience: Proven experience in Route Sales and Field Distribution within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).

Capabilities: Valid driving license (Motorcycle/Class C driver’s license preferred); strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; energetic and comfortable with active field sales and outdoor route work.
