Company Overview

TMHS Group Limited is a local registered company dealing with providing Emergency Medical Services, Waste and Environmental Management, Health Solutions, Medical Supplies Services, Remote Medicals, and Safety Solutions both local and international. Currently, it is looking for an Environmental Officer who is self-motivated, committed, result-driven and self-motivated to work with the company.

(Note: The company is certified to ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems, which is why the role emphasizes developing and maintaining environmental management systems.)

Responsibilities

• Conducting environmental audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

• Regulating permitted and illegal operations, and taking enforcement action when non-compliance occurs.

• Assessing environmental risks and impacts associated with an organization’s activities.

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental policies and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).

• Creating and implementing strategies for waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.

• Advising management and other stakeholders on environmental matters.

• Monitoring pollution levels, ecological health, water quality, and waste disposal.

• Investigating environmental incidents and coordinating corrective actions.

• Responding to environmental emergencies, such as spills or contamination incidents.

• Providing training and guidance to staff and clients on environmental practices and sustainability.

• Raising awareness of environmental issues among stakeholders.

• Educating clients on maintaining good environmental health standards.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Minimal qualification Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science and Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health Sciences, or any related field.

• Experience: At least three years working experience in the field of Environmental Management.

• Language: Must be fluent in writing and speaking English language.

• Technical: Must have computer skills.

• Soft Skills: Applicants should have a high level of discipline, communicative and interpersonal skills, analytical, innovative problem-solving skills and time-managing skills.
