Summary of Positions & Requirements

1. Artisan Grade II (Total: 765 Posts)

• Electrical (736 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate and VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Electrical Installation or a relevant trade. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.
• Auto Electric (6 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate and VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Auto Electric or a relevant trade. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.
• Automobile (12 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate and VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Auto Mechanics or a relevant trade. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.
• Electronics (6 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate and VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Electronics or a relevant trade. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.
• Gorge Attendant (3 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate, VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Mechanics/Electrical Installation, plus a NEMC or TAWIL Attendance Certificate. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.
• Light Current (8 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate and VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Electronics or a relevant trade. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.
• Electronics and Telecommunications (6 Posts): Secondary Education Certificate and VETA Trade Test II / National Vocational Award Level II or Certificate of Competence Level II in Electronics or a relevant trade. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.

2. Technician Grade II (Total: 203 Posts)

• Electrical/Electronics (193 Posts): National Technician Awards (NTA) Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a relevant qualification. Computer literacy is mandatory. Salary Scale: TSS. 3.
• Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning / HVAC (7 Posts): NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) in Refrigeration and Air Condition or relevant qualification. Computer literacy is mandatory. Salary Scale: TSS. 3.
• Operation and Maintenance of Water Systems (3 Posts): NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma) in Water Quality and Laboratory Technology or relevant qualification. Computer literacy is mandatory. Salary Scale: TSS. 3.

3. Engineer Grade II (Total: 6 Posts)

• Electrical and Electronics (2 Posts): Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) or relevant qualification. Must be registered as a Graduate Engineer with ERB. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Telecommunications (1 Post): Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) or relevant qualification. Must be registered as a Graduate Engineer with ERB. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Mechanical (3 Posts): Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or relevant qualification. Must be registered as a Graduate Engineer with ERB. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.

4. ICT Officer Grade II (Total: 13 Posts)

• Certified Information Systems Auditor – CISA (6 Posts): Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Accounting/Finance, or Auditing, plus CISA certification. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Network Security (1 Post): Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with either CISM or a cybersecurity certificate and Information System Security. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Cyber Security / Security Analyst (2 Posts): Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with either CISM or a cybersecurity certificate and Information System Security. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Network Engineer (1 Post): Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Application Architect / Developer (2 Posts): Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT, with strong knowledge of web development frameworks, programming languages (Python, Java Spring boot, Angular, React, .Net, etc.), and RDBMS. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.
• Oracle Database Administrator (1 Post): Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT and Oracle Database Certifications. Salary Scale: TSS. 5.

5. Driver Grade II (100 Posts)

• Qualifications: Form IV Certificate, Class “C or E” Driving License with basic driving course certificates from VETA, NIT, or any recognized institution, and at least 1 year of driving experience without causing accidents. Salary Scale: TSS. 2.

1. Citizenship: Must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania, aged not above 45 years.
2. Certificates: Attach certified copies of academic certificates, transcripts, professional registration/training certificates (where applicable), and birth certificates. Form IV/VI result slips and testimonials are strictly not accepted.
3. Public Service Employees: Serving public service employees and retired personnel are strictly not allowed to apply.
4. Foreign Certificates: Must be recognized by relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, NACTVET), including GPA calculation certificates where required.
