Location: 1- Dar es Salaam; 1 Moshi
Reports to: Program Lead
Contract Type: Fixed-term continuation is based on performance and funding availability.

Through innovative, community-centered initiatives, TEDI works to empower schools, teachers, and students with the skills and tools needed to thrive in the digital age.
One of TEDI’s flagship initiatives is the One Computer Lab One School Program, which focuses on equipping schools particularly in underserved communities with functional digital learning labs, structured digital skills training, and ongoing support to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes. The program aims to bridge the digital divide by ensuring that every school has a sustainable, well-supported ICT lab that enhances learning and prepares students for future opportunities. Job Summary
The Field Coordinator Digital Learning Programs will support the day-to-day implementation of the organization’s digital literacy program in assigned secondary schools. The role involves facilitating digital skills sessions, supporting ICT training for teachers and students, providing basic technical assistance, and collecting field data to inform program monitoring and improvement. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals passionate about digital education and youth empowerment.
Responsibilities

Facilitate digital literacy classes for secondary school students.

Support ICT training sessions for teachers and school ICT clubs.

Assist in developing or adapting simple digital learning materials.

Provide basic troubleshooting support for computers, tablets, and internet connectivity.

Ensure digital labs or ICT equipment are functioning properly during training sessions.

Collect and document attendance, learner progress, and feedback from sessions.

Submit timely field reports to the Program Supervisor.

Support data collection for donor reporting and program improvement.

Coordinate with school administrators and ICT teachers to schedule sessions.

Maintain relationships with students and teachers.

Uphold the organization’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies at all times.

Ensure safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive learning environments for all students.

Adhere to all organizational policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications Required
Educational background:
-
Bachelor degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and common educational technologies.
Professional Expertise:
-
Experience in facilitation, teaching, or youth engagement.

Familiarity with e-learning tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Moodle).

Experience working with adolescents or in school-based programs.
