The Digital Health Advisor (DHA), reporting to the MEL Director, will provide technical leadership and support for the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of digital health and monitoring systems across the MNCH and malaria portfolios. S/he will support DHIS2, mobile health applications, interoperable digital platforms, dashboards, and geospatial data systems to strengthen surveillance, service delivery monitoring, data quality, performance tracking, and evidence-based decision-making.
Working closely with MEL Advisors, technical teams, and government counterparts, the DHA will ensure digital solutions are functional, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with national health information systems and project reporting requirements. S/he will prioritize strengthening government capacity to manage, maintain, and utilize digital systems, promoting integration into existing national platforms, reducing reliance on parallel project systems, and supporting sustainable transition of digital health functions to government institutions.
