The successful candidate will support the Stores Supervisor in maintaining a clean, secure, and efficient store, ensuring accurate stock control and the timely supply of goods to company operations.

• Reports To: Stores Supervisor

2. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and dispatch goods while verifying packaging, expiry dates, and part identification.
• Maintain accurate stock records, conduct monthly stocktakes, and report stock movements, ageing, dead stock, and consumption.
• Safeguard stock and premises while complying with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate timely supplies, identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements, and perform other duties assigned by the Stores Supervisor.

3. Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Transportation, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• Sound knowledge of storekeeping, inventory procedures, and maintenance supplies, including truck and trailer parts.
• SAP literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is highly recommended.
• Good spoken and written English and Kiswahili, with strong organizational, recordkeeping, reporting, and supervisory skills.
• Honesty, discipline, professionalism, and knowledge of workplace safety and security.
• Ability to work independently in demanding conditions, including shifts, weekends, extra hours, and extended periods away from home.
