Job Summary

Ultimate Surveyors and Loss Assessors Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and dynamic professionals for the position of Motor Claims Assessor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and overseeing motor vehicle loss assessments, coordinating repair estimates, investigating accidents and ensuring that claims are handled professionally, accurately and within the required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee loss assessments for motor vehicles and coordinate repair estimates.

• Negotiate with garages and repairers to ensure cost-effective vehicle repairs.

• Review claims reports, repair quotations and supporting documentation.

• Ensure compliance with insurance policy terms, internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with insurers, clients, brokers, garages and other relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor claims turnaround times and ensure timely submission of assessment reports.

• Provide technical guidance and support to the claims team.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Motor Engineering.

• Experience in motor claims, preferably in motor vehicle assessment.

• Practical experience in motor vehicle assessment and accident investigation.

• Excellent report-writing, analytical, communication and leadership skills.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

• Ability to meet strict turnaround times (TATs).

• CII, ACII or Dip CII qualification will be an added advantage.
