About the Role
Mogo Credit Tanzania is seeking motivated and integrity-driven Field Collections Officers to manage field recovery operations for device financing. The primary focus of this role is to recover financed devices, protect company assets, ensure compliance with legal and internal guidelines, and maintain excellent customer relations in the field.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Field Recovery & Asset Management
-
Recover financed devices in strict accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.

Protect company assets through accurate documentation and secure transportation of recovered devices.

Ensure proper documentation during the recovery and handover processes.

Represent the Mogo brand professionally and ethically during all customer interactions.
2. Target Achievement & Reporting

Meet and exceed assigned monthly collection and recovery targets.

Maintain accurate case records and consistently update internal company systems.

Identify and promptly report any fraudulent activities or suspicious cases.
3. Operational Collaboration & Compliance
-
Collaborate effectively with the Debt Collection, Logistics, Customer Care, and Operations teams.

Ensure all field collection activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding customer information and data protection policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Work Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in Field Collections, Asset Recovery, Field Sales, Field Operations, or Customer Service.

Industry Background: Previous experience in device financing, microfinance, banking, or telecommunications is considered a strong advantage.

Skills: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal communication skills.

Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, professional conduct, and the ability to work independently in field environments.
