Position Overview

Job Objective

• To manage cash and cheque transactions and to maintain good service delivery at teller points.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt and efficient payment and posting of all cash and cheque transactions.
• Ensure proper daily balancing of cash and transactions.
• Oversee responsibility for service delivery standards at teller points.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Turnaround time.
• Customer delivery service index.
• Amount of revenue accrued through the processing of customer transactions.
• Number of error transactions.
• Number of shortages and overages.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.
• Secondary Education: Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings, including Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language.

Competencies & Skills

• Knowledge: Banking operations, policies, procedures, and basic accounting.
• Skills & Competencies: Professional disposition, IT appreciation and application skills, information sourcing and processing skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer service orientation.
