Alfa Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Dar es Salaam, is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) to join our Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
· Handle operations and maintenance within the utility area, including boilers and related equipment.
· Carry out Gas SS (Stainless Steel) welding and associated fabrication works.
· Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure minimal downtime of production and utility systems.
· Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
· Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with safety, GMP, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
· Proven experience in Gas SS (Stainless Steel) welding is mandatory.
· Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and utility operations (including boilers).
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
