Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise receipt, inspection, and recording of incoming goods.

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling and arrangement of items for easy retrieval.

  • Monitor stock levels and initiate timely requisitions for replenishment.

  • Ensure compliance with store procedures, safety standards and company policies.

  • Implement inventory rotation to minimize losses and expiries.

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly store reports.

  • Report stock variance, damage and obsolete items to management.

  • Supervise storekeepers, loaders and helpers.

  • Liaise with procurement, finance and user departments to coordinate and fulfill stock requirements.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

  • High integrity with strong attention to detail and organization.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and warehouse/store best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain or related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in store or warehouse supervision.

  • Professional certification such as PSPTB is an added advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with inventory management systems (ERP, Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
