About the Role
The Inverter Team Leader is responsible for driving solar inverter sales and managing a network of commission-based agents within a defined area. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategy and on-the-ground execution, focusing on market expansion, agent mentorship, and ensuring high repayment performance in a fast-paced device financing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agent Management & Engagement

Acquisition: Recruit, train, and certify agents from internal pools and external technician networks.

Development: Maintain the required agent base and provide continuous mentorship.

Field Presence: Conduct daily agent visits with defined route plans and lead “table meetings” to maintain awareness.

Branding & Stock: Ensure agents comply with inventory policies and meet branding guidelines.
2. Sales & Productivity

Targets: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly inverter sales goals.

Activations: Drive market sales through organized activities and field events.

Performance: Monitor and maintain high monthly agent productivity.
3. Portfolio & Collection Performance

Repayments: Train agents on collection strategies to improve repayment performance.

Risk Mitigation: Track First Payment Default (FPD) and “At Risk” accounts to provide resolution support.

Repossessions: Oversee the repossession process for inverter accounts when necessary.
4. Marketing & Customer Service

Campaigns: Develop digital media and social media campaigns; lead activations in high-traffic locations (malls, gated communities).

Customer Experience: Manage a feedback and resolution dashboard to improve satisfaction.

After-Sales: Coordinate with the technical team regarding warranties and repairs.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum four (4) years in inverter systems sales or the renewable energy sector.

Advantage: Licensed Solar PV Technician (EPRA).
Skills & Competencies

Technical Literacy: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and stock management tools.

Leadership: Strong people-person skills with the ability to mentor and align teams.

Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of both urban and rural local markets.

Travel: Willingness to travel 5 days a week in the field.
