Group Marketing Manager at GSM, Dar es Salaam – December 2025
Role Purpose
Lead the development and execution of the group’s marketing strategy to drive brand growth, market share, and revenue across all business clusters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all channels and oversee brand campaigns.
- Drive digital marketing initiatives including search engine optimization and marketing, social media platforms, and content marketing.
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets, ensuring ROI on campaigns.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team and foster collaboration with other departments.
- Track and report marketing performance to senior leadership and optimize campaigns based on insights.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple channels preferably in FMCG.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable ROI.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles. Candidates with experience in multiple industries such as Manufacturing, Trading, and Logistics will have an added advantage.
