Role Overview

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Dar es Salaam – Tanzania
Key Responsibilities

Business Growth: Drive business growth by identifying and converting high-potential loan opportunities.

Target Achievement: Achieve monthly targets while maintaining a 100% collection rate.

Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including client assessment, loan structuring, and collateral evaluation in line with company policies.

Proposals: Prepare, review, and submit complete and accurate credit proposals with supporting documentation to Head Office.

Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage loan portfolio performance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure portfolio quality.

Mentorship: Provide market insights and mentorship to junior officers to enhance performance, efficiency, and customer engagement.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in Financial Institutions.

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of car loans (or similar financial products).

Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Client Relations: Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Drive: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
