Usangu Logistics (T) Ltd is looking for a HR Manager.

Location: Tabata, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop HR strategies, workforce planning, and succession planning to support business objectives.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead hiring for drivers and logistics staff, ensuring smooth integration.
Performance Management: Implement appraisal systems, set KPIs for drivers (fuel, safety), and coach managers.
Compliance & Legal: Ensure adherence to Tanzanian labor laws, road safety regulations, and manage HR documentation.
Payroll & Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, benefits, and statutory deductions for all staff, including driver allowances.
Employee Relations: Address grievances, mediate conflicts, promote welfare, and manage disciplinary actions.
Health & Safety: Oversee safety protocols, wellness programs, and emergency responses for the workforce.
HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, licenses, and HR reporting.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
Work experience: 4-6 years
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, Master’s advantageous.
Proven HR experience, ideally in logistics/transport.
Deep knowledge of Tanzanian labor law.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
High integrity and ability to handle sensitive data.
People-oriented and results-driven.
