Organization: Diamond Trust Bank (DTB).
Position: Assistant Manager – Debt Recovery.
Job Purpose: Responsible for the recovery of bad debts, including Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and Written-Off Facilities. All actions must comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal framework requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy & Recovery: Review account statuses and recommend optimal courses of action to maximize recovery speed and efficiency.
Negotiations: Facilitate and participate in negotiations with various defaulters (Corporate, SMEs, Retail, Credit Cards, IPF, and Asset Based Financing) regarding outstanding credit facility settlements.
Reporting: Prepare executive write-ups for deliberation and approval by bank authorities.
Vendor Management: Monitor debt collectors, auctioneers, and third-party service providers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements.
Legal & Litigation: Liaise with the legal department to analyze recovery strategies for ongoing litigation cases.
Field Representation: Attend court sessions and property disposal events, such as public auctions and tender bids.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or an equivalent field.
Preferred Certifications: Professional certification in Loan Work-Out, Debt Recoveries, or Credit Risk Management is considered an added advantage.
