Job Opportunity: Content Creator & Creative Designer

Reports To Digital Marketing Manager – Sales, Performance and Analytics

Job Purpose: To conceptualize, design, and produce compelling visual and multimedia content that tells Equity Bank’s brand story. This role merges creativity, photography, and videography to drive engagement across digital and offline platforms in a fast-paced environment.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Creative Design & Production

  • Visual Identity: Develop captivating graphics, animations, and motion visuals for digital, print, and branch use.

  • Brief Execution: Translate campaign briefs into high-quality executions aligned with brand tone.

  • Multimedia: Lead photography and videography from concept to post-production (campaigns, corporate events, and storytelling).

  • Marketing Collateral: Design and edit banners, posters, infographics, and digital ads.

2. Content Creation & Copy Support

  • Engagement: Create market-relevant content for social media, websites, and email.

  • Copywriting: Draft or adapt marketing copy to match product positioning.

  • Optimization: Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and optimized for platform-specific specifications.

  • Collaboration: Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to align creative work with data insights.

3. Campaign & Channel Support

  • Execution: Develop assets for both paid and organic channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).

  • Consistency: Maintain brand quality across all platforms.

  • Analytics: Monitor creative performance and trends to recommend improvements.

4. Brand Consistency & Innovation

  • Guardianship: Uphold visual and tone consistency across all outputs.

  • Trend Watching: Stay updated on emerging creative technologies and storytelling formats.

Requirements

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film Production, or Marketing.

  • Experience: 3–4 years in creative design or visual storytelling (Media, Film, or Advertising industry).

  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and Figma.

  • Core Skills: Mastery of photography and videography (shooting and post-production) is a core requirement.

  • Digital Savvy: Solid understanding of social media algorithms and audience behavior.
