About the Role

HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is looking for a Branch Loan Officer who will be responsible for driving branch sales activities, conducting loan appraisals and recoveries, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent customer service to support business growth.

Responsibilities

Sales & Team Management

• Recruit, supervise, and retain sales agents to achieve branch sales targets
• Drive sales performance by implementing strategies for acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones
• Cross-sell loan products and convert leads from various channels into active clients

Credit & Recovery Operations

• Conduct loan appraisals in line with credit and compliance policies
• Support loan recovery efforts

Asset & Compliance Management

• Manage branch assets and inventory, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and compliance with company standards
• Ensure strict adherence to credit, customer service, collection, and compliance policies

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the financial sector

Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of laws and regulations governing financial institutions in Tanzania
• Knowledge of financial industry dynamics, customer behavior, and market trends
• Strong ability to deliver results both independently and as part of a team
