Job Vacancy: Marketing & Sales Officer

Role Purpose

This is a high-energy field role focused on growing PFL’s client base through grassroots mobilization and community engagement. You will bridge the gap between marketing and loan processing to ensure business growth in the Dar es Salaam area.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Growth

Customer Acquisition: Actively sell PFL products to meet and exceed monthly targets.
Field Mobilization: Visit communities and host group meetings to identify new clients.
Event Management: Coordinate outreach programs, promotional events, and CSR initiatives.

2. Market Intelligence & Branding

Research: Perform competitor analysis to improve PFL’s product offerings.
Brand Visibility: Distribute and manage marketing materials (posters/flyers) to maintain a professional brand image.
Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports on marketing expenses and promotional results.

3. Credit Support

Loan Processing: Assist with client appraisals and business potential evaluations.
Compliance: Ensure all activities align with microfinance regulations and internal PFL policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Category	Requirements
Education	Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, or Agricultural Economics.
Experience	Minimum of two (2) years of active experience in Microfinance Activities.
Skills	Strong field mobilization skills, financial literacy, and grassroots marketing ability.
