Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Engineer – Generators to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving generator sales while providing strong technical expertise and professional customer support throughout the sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell generator products to new and existing clients
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance
• Ensure excellent customer service and effective after-sales support
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sales, preferably in generators or power solutions
• Strong experience in sales engineering and technical support
• Sound knowledge of generator systems and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Knowledge of the Tanzanian market is an added advantage
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
