The company provides a wide range of products and services designed to support both commercial and small-scale farmers, including day-old chicks for broilers, layers, and the hardy “Tanbro” free-range variety. Beyond livestock and feed, Interchick offers extensive technical support through its Learning Hub, providing guidance on health management, hygiene, and brooding to help farmers achieve profitability. Additionally, in collaboration with Zoetis, the company operates a state-of-the-art poultry disease diagnostic laboratory in Dar es Salaam to provide microbiology and surveillance services for flock health.

Responsibilities

Ensuring stocks and banking’s are up to date.

Issuing receipt to every sale you made.
-
Meeting customers’ needs by stocking a full product range tailored to customer expectations.

Communicating and requesting for stock in time before running out completely.
-
Ensuring the cash is banked as agreed for all the depot sales.
-
Guiding the customers and persuading a sale.
-
Upholding store standards.
-
Reconciliation of stock.
-
Submitting of daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for the depot.

Ensuring the depot is branded and kept clean representable.
-
Ensuring that record keeping is accurate and filed properly.
-
Participating in Stock taking or as assigned.
-
Any other duties pertinent to the role that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
-
Certificate/diploma in sales & marketing, customer service management or its equivalent.
-
Knowledge in POS system will be an added advantage.
