Job Summary

The Finance Manager oversees the organization’s financial health by managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. This role supports strategic decision-making, ensures compliance with financial regulations, and leads financial planning to drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
Develop financial models to support business decisions, investments, and strategic initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
Coordinate audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

Accounting & Controls

Supervise accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.

Leadership & Strategy

Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting staff.
Work closely with department heads to manage costs and improve financial performance.
Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and investment evaluations where applicable.
Drive process improvements and financial system enhancements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including managerial experience.
Certification: Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel/financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in relevant industries such as manufacturing, telecom, or services.
Knowledge of international accounting standards and multi-entity reporting.
Experience with financial transformation or system implementations.
