I. SCHOOL OF NURSING (SONU)

1. Assistant Lecturer (1 Post)

• Job Summary: Conduct teaching, research, and public services/consultancy under senior staff guidance.

• Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (or equivalent).

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

  • GPA: Minimum 3.5 (Undergraduate) and 4.0 (Master’s) on a 5-point scale.

  • Registration: Must be registered by TNMC.

• Key Duties: Conducting undergraduate lectures, preparing case studies, marking exams, supervising field work, and participating in curriculum development.

• Tenure: 4-year renewable contract.

2. Tutorial Assistant (2 Posts)

• Job Summary: Support teaching and research; specifically responsible for coordinating Skills Laboratories.

• Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences (or Technology).

  • GPA: Minimum 3.5 on a 5-point scale.

  • Registration: Must be registered by relevant authorities (e.g., MeLSAT).

  • Experience: Tertiary education experience is an added advantage.

• Key Duties: Leading seminars/tutorials, assisting in marking assignments, and understudying senior faculty in research and consultancy.

3. Medical Laboratory Technician – MLT (1 Post)

• Job Summary: Supervise practical duties for medical laboratory students and maintain laboratory facilities.

• Qualifications:

  • Ordinary Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences.

  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 on a 5-point scale.

• Key Duties: Carrying out laboratory practicals, repairing and maintaining lab equipment, and assisting senior staff in lab operations.

II. FACULTY OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES (FaNAS)

1. Laboratory Technician – Chemistry (1 Post)

• Job Summary: Supervise practical duties for chemistry students and manage lab facility maintenance.

• Qualifications:

  • Ordinary Diploma in Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Sciences.

  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 on a 5-point scale.

• Key Duties: Executing laboratory practical tasks, supporting student projects, and ensuring the upkeep of chemistry laboratory facilities.
