About the Program
North Mara Gold Mine Limited is seeking to enroll Industrial Practical Training (IPT) students for the year 2026 to join our team.
The main objective of the Industrial Practical Training program is to contribute towards human capital development in Tanzania. Barrick – North Mara has created these opportunities to allow students from universities and other recognized tertiary institutions to gain exposure and acquire hands-on skills in a world-class mining environment.
Please Note: IPT is not an internship program. Duration is strictly Eight (8) Weeks.

Enrolment Criteria
To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must not be a first-year or final-year student.
- Must not be a graduate.
- Must understand that IPT is not regarded as an internship program.

- Introduction Letter from the University/Institution, including the contact number of the student and IPT Coordinator/Liaison Personnel.
- Examination Results with an official institutional stamp.
