Job Title: Customer Value Management (CVM) Assistant

About the Role
The CVM Assistant supports Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities by developing and executing strategies aligned with business objectives. The role focuses on driving revenue growth from existing customers, monitoring business performance, and reporting insights to key stakeholders through SQL scripting, data mining, analysis, and report publication, particularly within Airtel Money operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth & Customer Value Management
- Achieve agreed growth targets from existing Airtel Money customers.
- Support cross-selling and upselling of products and services to the current customer base.
- Grow ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) through targeted lifecycle initiatives.
- Conduct post-launch project evaluations and prepare performance reports aligned with business and finance targets.
- Support product and tariff management in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
2. Project & Process Management
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and campaign launches.
- Prepare project documentation and business cases and facilitate stakeholder sign-off.
- Conduct weekly product meetings and align requirements with NET/IT, Revenue Assurance, and Customer Service teams.
3. Business Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track Airtel Money performance on a daily basis and report to relevant stakeholders.
- Compile and maintain competitor intelligence, including market offerings and positioning.
- Prepare monthly group performance reports for Airtel Money.
- Support monthly financial reporting across all Airtel Money business buckets.
4. Tracker & Database Management
- Act as custodian of the Airtel Money CLM projects database, tracking all project phases.
- Maintain and regularly update Tariff Masters for audit and compliance purposes.
- Liaise with Revenue Assurance teams on charging discrepancies and product exceptions identified through audits.
5. SQL & Data Analytics Support
- Interpret business logic and apply SQL guidelines to generate accurate datasets.
- Support strategic decision-making through structured reporting and data analytics.
6. Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Usage & Retention Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- SQL certification is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years’ commercial experience within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven experience in product management, customer lifecycle management, and customer experience.
- Ability to perform effectively in a performance-driven environment.
