Role Overview
The ICT Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the Bank’s information systems, networks, and data while ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain ICT security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)
2. Network & System Security
- Monitor network traffic, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Ensure secure configuration of servers, databases, and core systems
3. Incident & Access Management
- Detect, respond to, and investigate cybersecurity incidents
- Manage user access controls, identity management, and data encryption mechanisms
4. Compliance & Awareness
- Support internal and external ICT security audits
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and user training sessions
- Promote best practices in information security across the Bank
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Cybersecurity
- Or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in ICT security or a related role
Professional Certifications (Preferred)
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CompTIA Security+
