About the Role
The role is responsible for operating production machinery and performing regular maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver production at rated speed in line with operational targets.
- Capture production data and perform Quality-at-Source tasks to maintain quality standards.
- Execute CILT activities on assigned machinery (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate, Tighten).
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and procedures at all times.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of all machinery under control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned work area.
- Complete accurate shift handover reports.
- Execute routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Implement LOTOTO procedures (Lock-Out, Tag-Out, Try-Out) on assigned equipment.
- Accurately capture Short Interval Control (SIC) data.
- Perform 5-Why analysis or RCPS on equipment downtime and breakdowns.
- Embed quality and food safety standards into daily ways of working.
Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment (utilities equipment experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work accurately, follow procedures, and collaborate within a team.
