Key Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to manage long-term planning and coordination of materials within the zone. The role connects multiple departments and countries to accurately forecast material requirements and ensure the achievement of Service Level and Cost KPIs.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Supplier Management

  • Manage supplier relationships and engagement.
  • Negotiate and influence suppliers to ensure consistent material availability.

Materials Planning & Supply

  • Ensure material supply aligns with calculated long- and mid-term requirements.
  • Manage stock levels at both brewery and supplier locations.
  • Coordinate materials management for:
    • New Product Development (NPD)
    • Promotional campaigns
    • Product discontinuations

Systems & Data Management

  • Work with ERP systems, particularly the Materials Management module.
  • Use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Maintain system data and master data accuracy.

Risk & Cost Management

  • Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and reduce material obsolescence.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators such as:
    • Service level
    • Cost performance
  • Standardize reporting across the business units.
  • Prepare zone planning reports and presentations.

Strategic Coordination

  • Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Procurement Long-Term Plan.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external partners
  • High level of discipline, process rigor, and attention to detail

Minimum Requirements

  • A Supply Chain related degree or a degree in numerical sciences
  • Proficiency in:
    • SAP
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (purchasing to manufacturing)
  • Previous experience in a planning-oriented role
  • Experience in an FMCG company is considered an advantage
