Job Vacancy: Wound Care Nurse

Job Vacancy: Wound Care Nurse

Kitengule Hospital is looking for a competent and experienced Nurse specialized in wound care and dressing to join the clinical team in Tegeta, Dar es Salaam.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage various wound types (surgical, ulcers, burns, and traumatic injuries).

  • Perform professional wound cleaning and dressing using sterile techniques.

  • Monitor healing progress and identify signs of infection or complications.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and hygiene.

  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for effective patient management.

  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control procedures.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (EN/ANO) graduated from a recognized institution.

  • Valid professional license.

  • Proven experience in wound care and dressing management.

  • Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.

  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and within a team environment.
