Program Overview
Mzumbe University, in collaboration with Tanzania Safa Kühne Foundation, invites applications for 15 internship positions.
The internship program is designed to provide recent graduates with practical, hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management. Selected interns will assist in operational and administrative tasks that support the strengthening of logistics systems and supply chain efficiency across assigned regions.
Internship Responsibilities
Selected interns will support various operational activities, including:
- Assisting field operations in assigned regions
- Managing and analyzing operational data
- Supporting procurement processes
- Coordinating supply chain and logistics activities
- Maintaining accurate operational and logistics documentation
Through these responsibilities, interns will gain valuable professional exposure to real-world logistics and supply chain operations.
Key Internship Details
Duty Stations
Interns will be deployed to one of the following regions:
- Arusha
- Kilimanjaro
- Mbeya
- Songwe
Reporting Line
Interns will report to:
- Internship Coordinators from the host organizations
- Supervisors from the Kühne Foundation
Internship Duration
- 3 months
- Start date: 1 April 2026
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a recent graduate (preferably 2024 or 2025 graduates)
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Procurement and Logistics
- Supply Chain Management
- Health Systems Management
- Other related disciplines
- Minimum GPA: 3.5
- Age limit: Not older than 27 years
- PSPTB registration is an added advantage
- Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
