Power Providers Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join its finance team in Arusha.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Intern will support the finance department in the following areas:

Financial Record Management

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

Cash & Imprest Management

• Handle petty cash transactions.
• Monitor staff imprests and follow up on retirement documentation.

Accounting Software & Data Entry

• Post financial transactions into QuickBooks.
• Assist in preparing and recording payment vouchers.

Financial Reconciliation

• Support bank reconciliation processes.
• Review financial records to ensure accuracy.

Administrative Support

• Organize and file financial documents and records.
• Provide general operational and administrative support to the finance department.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Or a related field

Experience

• 0–1 year of experience
• Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks (an added advantage)

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently

Location Requirement
