Job Title: Network Techno-Sales Engineer

Location: Tanzania
Computer Centre Tanzania is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join the team as a Network Techno-Sales Engineer. The role combines technical expertise and sales support, helping design solutions, support bids, and drive business growth in the networking and ICT infrastructure domain.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Technical Support
- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
- Assist in identifying customer requirements and proposing appropriate network and ICT solutions.
Bid Management & Proposal Writing
- Take technical ownership of RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
- Prepare technical proposals and ensure strict compliance with client specifications.
Vendor Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor product portfolios.
- Maximize margins and rebates through active participation in authorized partner programs such as:
- Huawei
- Cisco
- HPE Network
Sales Enablement & Client Engagement
- Partner with Key Account Managers (KAMs) across sectors such as:
- Banking & Financial Services (BFSI)
- Private Sector
- Government
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities for the Network Business Unit.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design scalable, secure, and comprehensive network architectures, including:
- Enterprise Networking
- Cybersecurity solutions
- Unified Communications
- Physical Security solutions
Lead Generation & Revenue Forecasting
- Support lead generation activities and contribute to closing deals.
- Meet monthly performance KPIs related to revenue and sales targets.
⚠️ Note:
The role involves decision-making within established guidelines. Managerial approval will be required for high-risk or non-standard matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Electronics Engineering
- Or a related field
Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in a similar ICT or pre-sales technical role.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Enterprise networking
- Telecommunications
- ICT infrastructure solutions
- Experience with:
- Technical proposals
- Bid management
- Tender responses (RFP/RFQ)
Professional Competencies
- Ability to design, present, and position technical solutions.
- Strong capability to support sales processes and client engagements.
Certifications (Advantageous)
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- HCIP (Huawei Certified ICT Professional)
- NSE5 (Fortinet Network Security Expert)
