2. Job Objective(s)
Implementation & Operations
-
Lead and ensure implementation standards after a cash management services proposal (involving multiple products, services, or geographies) is accepted.
-
Support day-to-day operations of electronic banking services delivered to customers.
-
Drive digital payment products utilization, penetration, and manage the dormancy of all channels.
-
Own the overall problem resolution processes to ensure seamless delivery to customers.
-
Actively monitor the turnaround time of implementations to expedite revenue for the Bank.
-
Implement all cash e-banking products (packaged and non-packaged), including Sweeping, Premium Collections, Host-to-Host, and non-standard offerings.
Strategy & Market Positioning
-
Position Ecobank as the preferred provider and leading cash management solution provider in the country.
-
Be a “door opener” for customer acquisition by increasing the ETZ customer value proposition and enhancing client experience.
-
Carry out payment services initiatives to achieve goals and assist in the migration of best practices.

Support utilization initiatives by working closely with other Payment members across different countries.
Project & Relationship Management
-
Manage projects involving coordination, milestone tracking, and progress updates among internal/external stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Ops, Vendors, etc.).
-
Take full ownership of the pipeline management and deal conversion process (working with ROs and RMs).

Maintain a proactive calling plan for key relationships.
-
Interfacing with the customer’s implementation team until satisfaction is achieved and stable utilization is reached (first two months).
Compliance, Finance & Reporting
-
Ensure all processes are executed in compliance with set standards.

Prepare weekly and monthly country payment performance reports for the Head of Cash Management.

Be cost-conscious and minimize the department’s operating budget and expenditure.
Product Development & Training
-
Support the formulation of customized solutions with Group IT, software vendors, and local banks.
-
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or Product Trial Runs for new electronic channel releases.
-
Train Sales and Product Managers on the technology and advantages of Electronic Banking through seminars and selling aids.
3. Requirements & Qualifications
Education
-
Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
-
Added Advantage: MBA, MSC, MA, ML, or relevant Professional Qualifications.
Work Experience
-
Hands-on experience in the Sales, design, and implementation of Electronic Banking Solutions.
