Lead the Frontline of Portfolio Performance
Mogo Tanzania is launching a smartphone financing product designed to expand access to technology across the country. As the business scales, maintaining strong repayment discipline is essential.
The Collections Team Lead will supervise a team of Collections Officers and ensure daily execution of the collections strategy while maintaining high professional standards with customers.

Requirements
• Supervise and support a team of Collections Officers.
• Ensure daily follow-up with delinquent customers through calls, SMS, and field visits.
• Track team performance against collection targets and KPIs.
• Coach team members on negotiation techniques and professional customer interaction.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of all collection activities.
• Escalate high-risk accounts and coordinate with field recovery teams when required.
Team Leadership
• Conduct daily team briefings and performance reviews.
• Monitor individual collector productivity and quality of engagement.
• Support training and onboarding of new collections officers.
• Maintain strong discipline and accountability within the team.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years experience in collections, customer service, or credit operations.
• Experience supervising or mentoring teams is preferred.
• Background in fintech, microfinance, banking, PAYGO, or telecom financing is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
