Job Summary
The Loan Recovery Officer will be responsible for managing overdue loan accounts, ensuring effective recovery of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive client relationships during the recovery process. The role aims to reduce non-performing loans and improve overall recovery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on overdue loan accounts through phone calls, field visits, and formal notices.
- Monitor and manage non-performing loans (NPLs) to improve recovery rates.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding loans and recovery performance.
- Work closely with loan officers to monitor borrower behavior and minimize default risks.
- Maintain professional and respectful engagement with clients during recovery processes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in loan recovery or debt collection.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging recovery cases effectively.
