Descriptions
We are seeking a customer-oriented Sales Clerk with 1–2 years of experience working in a clothing or fashion retail store. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting customers with clothing selection, maintaining attractive product displays, and ensuring shelves and racks are well-organized and stocked.
Responsibilities
Participate in stock management and control. Assist shoppers locate the products and goods they desire. Stock shelves with goods. Answer queries from shoppers. Guide and give advice to customers on product selection. Keep the store clean and tidy. Work within established guidelines with brand. Attach price tags to merchandise. Look out for shoplifters; responsible for security within the store. Receive and store stock. Having an engaging and friendly personality. Confident manner. Must be polite, helpful and disciplined. Possess detailed understanding of area of the available stock. Smart in appearance and articulate.
Requirements
A certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field is an added advantage. 1–2 years of proven experience working as a Sales Clerk, Shop Assistant, or Sales Associate in a clothing or fashion retail store.
