Position: Assistant Chefs

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and experienced Assistant Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is a culinary professional who balances creativity in menu design with strong operational discipline.
You will contribute to the kitchen’s success through high-quality food preparation, consistency in service, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Culinary & Menu Development
- Assist in creating and updating seasonal menus reflecting modern trends and local tastes
- Support recipe development, portion control, and plating standards
2. Quality & Taste Control
- Support supervision during service to ensure consistency in food quality
- Ensure dishes meet standards of taste, temperature, and presentation before serving
3. Procurement & Vendor Relations
- Assist in sourcing fresh and high-quality ingredients from local markets
- Support management of supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency
4. Hygiene & Kitchen Cleanliness
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety
- Ensure cleaning schedules are strictly followed
- Support proper organization of kitchen areas to maintain a safe working environment
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years working as a Chef in a reputable establishment
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of diverse culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with local supply chains and sourcing quality ingredients
- Proven experience in local cuisine and current food trends
- Ability to bake cakes and handle bakery production
