Position: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary
TABONO CONSULT LIMITED is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations. The successful candidate will lead the team, manage guest experience, and ensure excellence across all areas—from the coffee bar to back-office operations.
This role requires a results-driven leader committed to delivering high service standards and continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance
- Monitor food quality by testing and tasting dishes before service
- Ensure all meals meet required standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
- Stop any dish that does not meet quality standards before it reaches customers
2. Team Leadership
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
- Build and maintain a high-performance team
- Handle disciplinary matters with professionalism and transparency
3. Client Relations & Feedback Management
- Lead front-of-house operations and engage with high-value guests
- Collect and act on customer feedback to improve service delivery
- Ensure exceptional guest experience at all times
4. Floor & Barista Support
- Remain active on the restaurant floor during operations
- Support baristas and service staff during peak hours
- Ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
5. Smart Procurement
- Source high-quality ingredients and supplies from local markets
- Maintain strong supplier relationships
- Implement cost-control measures and reduce waste
6. Customer Service Management
- Manage reservations, bookings, and customer inquiries
- Handle diverse customer needs, including phone and in-person interactions
- Ensure smooth coordination of all customer service activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in restaurant management
- Proven track record in staff recruitment and team management
- Strong ability to assess food quality, seasoning, and presentation
- Experience in talent management and staff performance evaluation
- Solid knowledge of local markets, suppliers, and sourcing strategies
- Results-oriented mindset with strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
