Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) is a private institution fully accredited by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU). The University is located in Gongo la Mboto, Dar es Salaam, approximately 8 kilometers from Julius Nyerere International Airport. KIUT seeks to attract qualified human resources as outlined in the following sections:

1.0 DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

1.1 Assistant Lecturer (Literature) – 2 Positions

• Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicant should be a holder of a Master of Arts in Literature with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor of Arts with Education (English/Literature) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.

1.2 Assistant Lecturer (History) – 1 Position

• Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicant should be a holder of a Master of Arts in History with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor of Arts with Education (History) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.

2.0 DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT

2.1 Assistant Lecturer (Supplies & Procurement Management) – 2 Positions

• Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicant should be a holder of a Master of Business Administration in Procurement and Supplies Management with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor of Procurement and Supplies Management with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.

2.2 Assistant Lecturer (Human Resource Management) – 2 Positions

• Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicant should be a holder of a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management or a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and a Bachelor of Human Resource Management with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

2. Applicant must attach certified copies of their certificates and transcripts.

3. Attaching copies of the following certificates is strictly not accepted:

    

   • Form IV and Form VI results slips.

      

   • Testimonials and all partial transcripts.

      

4. Applicant should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.

    

5. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced Level education should be verified by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) and the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).

    

6. Certificates from foreign universities should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

7. Applicant should apply based on the information provided in this advertisement.

8. Legal action will be taken against any applicant who presents forged certificates or false information.
