*JUNIOR HSE OFFICER – 1 POST (SHORT TERM PROJECT)*
Work station: *Dar es Salaam*
A reputable company is urgently looking for responsible Junior HSE Officer whose primary role will be to ensure the effective implementation of the HSE Management System during a Project in order to attain the company HSE objectives and meet client expectations.
*Roles & Responsibilities*
1. Assist in the preparation and implementation of HSE procedures, policies and objectives.
2. Coordinate with various departments of the company in regard to HSE matters
3. Maintain and control records and documents of the HSEQ Department
4. Support the development of HSEQ policies and programs.
5. Conduct internal training, toolbox talks and spearhead HSE campaigns to promote a safety culture.
6. Ensure statutory compliance for the company.
7. Conduct risk assessment and enforce mitigation measures.
8. Conduct site HSE inspections to identify hazards and propose control measures.
9. Participate in incident investigation and reporting.
10. Any other HSE-related task assigned by their line manager.
*Job Requirements and Skills*
1. Must have a bachelor’s degree (preferably a recent graduate).
2. Proven experience in HSE role, 0-1 year.
3. Possession of a NOSCH I and/or NOSCH II certificate(s).
4. Proficient with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
5. Strong communication skills.
