Job Opportunity: Head of Business Development
CNS Group is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives within the Banking sector. This role is based in Dar es Salaam.
Job Summary
The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities while ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and stakeholders, leading both acquisition and retention strategies.

Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead in the industry.

Collaboration & Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative financial products and services.

Performance & Reporting: Drive sales performance, ensure achievement of revenue targets, and monitor/report on business development performance metrics.

Leadership: Lead and mentor the business development team.

Representation: Represent the organization in high-level meetings, negotiations, and industry events.

Documentation: Prepare professional business proposals, presentations, and strategic reports.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years in business development or sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Industry Knowledge: Strong experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry is required.

Certifications: Professional certification is considered an added advantage.

Core Skills: * Proven track record in driving revenue growth and market expansion.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
