Job Summary

Platinum Credit Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Supervisor – Agribusiness to lead our operations in Tukuyu. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving loan disbursements, managing portfolio quality, and fostering strong relationships within the dairy and agribusiness sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Growth: Drive Agribusiness loan disbursement targets and grow the branch portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, onboard, and support dairy farmers, cooperatives, and agribusiness clients.
Team Leadership: Supervise team leaders and field staff, setting targets and monitoring performance.
Credit Management: Ensure credit appraisal, loan structuring, and repayment aligned to cash flows.
Risk Mitigation: Monitor portfolio quality and manage delinquency, collections, and recovery.
Field Operations: Conduct field visits to farms and agribusiness clients to ensure proper loan utilization.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with dairy cooperatives, input suppliers, and community stakeholders.
Compliance: Oversee branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Prepare and submit timely branch reports on sales, portfolio, risk, and operations.
Community Outreach: Support client education initiatives, financial literacy, and community engagement programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in microfinance, banking, or agrifinance.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the dairy value chain, agricultural lending, or rural finance is highly preferred.
Skills: Proven experience in sales, credit appraisal, and team supervision.
Competencies: Strong understanding of rural markets and farmer engagement.
